As a result of concerns raised by parishioners regarding the difficulty experienced by people with mobility scooters getting round the village the Parish Council raised the issue with SSDC in August. SCC have carried out a survey of areas of the Village resulting in a proposal to prohibit parking and loading or unloading at a number of junctions. Areas affected are the High Street, School Lane, Station Road/Yarn Barton and Vine Street. These consultation ends on 26th September 2019.
